U.S. Government Lists to Check

ExportWeb Denied Party Screening allows U.S. exporters to check U.S. Government lists of individuals, entities and organizations who have been denied export privileges or whose presence in an export transaction may require an export license. ExportWeb screens against the "Lists to Check,” the lists identified by BIS as being relevant to controlled exports.

Up-to-Date Database

ExportWeb’s database of the lists of restricted parties is updated within hours of changes to any of the “Lists to Check.”

Party Screening Capabilities

ExportWeb provides a user-friendly interface through which a company’s user can:

1. Screen for a party by first, last or full name only; entity or organization name only; country only; any combination of name and country; or full or partial address in combination with any name including or excluding a country.
2. Screen either new parties or parties in the company’s secure confidential customer database.
3. Screen each name or address against all of the lists identified by BIS.
4. Screen based on several match types including: whole word match, partial word match, and phonetic match.
5. Obtain screening results, grouped by type of match, including (1) the name of the list where match is found, (2) whether or not the record has expired and (3) the relevant Federal Register cite(s).
6. Print the screening results.
7. Access a history (audit log) of screenings, including (1) screening data input, (2) historical results of the screening, (3) user ID of the person that performed the screening and (4) date and time of the screening.
8. Maintain time stamped results of previously screened parties.
